Guys I need help. I wanna debadge my trunk. I know the Toyota symbol in the middle can't come out and I know how to remove the other ones. I've tried using the advanced search for the answer first, but can't find it. Are the "Toyota" and "Camry LE" just glued on? Or are they attached by the little plastic posts that will leave holes? I just want it bare in the back and wanna make sure there's no holes left. I thought I saw one b4, but wanted to make sure he didnt end up having holes and then filled them. Cuz that would just be a pain in the ass.

There are pins and holes!!!!!!!!!!!!! ONLY FOR THE TOYOTA LOGO.
There are no holes on those emblems, only on the center Toyota emblem. They are just on with double-sided tape. I believe the Gen 4.5 was the first Camry to not have holes for those emblems, and no Camry after that had holes.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.
Yo Ace, gonna go in for the tints today... thanks again man, and good luck with ur debadging... just make sure you use goof off or similar product to remove the remaining residue... also, make sure the color under the emblem matches the trunk... since ur car is a few years old, it may have faded
^Nah, it should be fine. His car is an '03. Mine is an '02 (built in 2001) and I debadged mine less than a year ago, and my paint was a perfect match underneath. And on a paint like mine, it'd be MUCH more noticeable than on a silver car.

best way to debadge.. i did mine with dental floss take one long strand of dental floss and fold in half so its 2x the strength wiggle it behind the letters then up n down in a saw like motion and cleaner wax i've done it with 4 other cars.. its been the best.. for me..
anyone else out there with a gen 5/5.5(pref 5.5 SE) that has debadged? im contemplating it but i like the fact that the black pearl badges set my SE apart from LE's or XLE's..
I'm taking them off on Wednesday, then goin to my tint shop and their gonna buff out any residue or nastiness left behind and then i'm gonna put a TRD emblem in the place of the Toyota name. I'll post a picture of it when I'm done. By the way, mike, I saw your whitechocolate camry on cardomain. Lol i found it by accident i was just clickin on different cars and i selected urs uz the lights looked funky. Come to find out that its you! LOL
I just debadged my Gen 5. All went well except there is a small amount of stuff left over from behind the Camry badge. It almost looks like a stain in the paint. I tried extra goo gone and paint cleaner on the blemishes, but no luck. I'm going to try and clay it off later...hopefully that will work.
