Australia Considering getting a MCV36R Camry (5th Gen)

I am considering upgrading from my AE102 Corolla to a larger and hopefully more powerful car. Now I am considering getting a MCV36R Camry, now the aussie model has the 1MZ-FE... which only produces 145Kw and 284Nm torque. Now i want to get it going...

Ie i'd like to be able to get 14 sec 400m's at least, if not 13s (with forced induction). Now I am wondering how much boost can the 1MZ-FE handle? I thought last time i looked into it that i heard about some of these motors blowing at the stock 4psi that the TRD kit uses, but then i read of other users running at 7psi...?

What is the weakness of these motors (ie is it the pistons or the rods)?

How much power an engine can handle is not measured in boost levels but in power levels...

But good luck getting the car to run 14's NA in the 1/4 mile.

Forced induction is another story, I suggest doing more research on FI.
