A couple grand cash instead of the kit? Amigo, once you've driven a car with the supercharger, I doubt you'd want to drive the same one without it.
In a similar way, that's why you shouldn't go to a dealership and test-drive a car that you know for sure you can never afford. Suppose you walk into a Benz dealership, and all you can afford are E-Class sedans and the ML SUV. Test-driving the S-Class will make your real choices feel incomplete, so you never ask to drive the S-Class to begin with.
