Has anyone put this tire size on an 2007 Camry 245/45/ZR18 yet.I was thinking of running this size and was curious if they would fit or not (or would they scrub?)
Thanks

Brandon,
It would fit no problem. You can go to the www.tire.com to see it for yourself. Just click on the tire calculator to compare any tire size.
Your stock is 215-60-16 which have the overall diameter of 26.16 inches.
Your new tire is 245-45-18 which have the overall diameter of 26.68 inches. It is only an increase of 1.99% or round up 2% compare to your stock. Generally rule of thumb is to keep it withing +/- 3%. This new tire will fit no problem and still within the guideline.

Your new tire is actually an increase of 4.2% over the stock tire.
Overall diameter of new tire is 25.72
Overall diameter of original tire is 24.69
It will still fit because I know a lot of people driving Gen5 with 245-35-20 tires.
But it is over the +/- 3% rule of thumb. So your odometer will really be off.
I would suggest you go with 225/40/18 or 235/40/18.

I just put 245/40ZR18s on my 07 XLE ... no rubbing at all. You will definately have no problem, as the only difference is the Profile, and theres plenty of room to go larger on the profile ... however, I'd go with the 245/40ZR18's for two reasons:

1. They look better ... less sidewall!
2. They keep closer to stock diameter, which will keep your speedo, odometer & NAVI as close to factory as possible to keep things accurate!

What does it matter if the odo and speedo are a little off? I mean so what if you're doing 62 and it shows 60?
