The Return of the Lizard!

As some of you may remember, I got a black 07 Camry SE V6 in the second week of March.

On the 13th, the roof and hood were severely damaged, and I had to claim $7100 of damage with my insurance company.

The car was taken to a Toyota body shop, who didn't start work on it until last week.

Today I came by the shop to see the progress, and was pleasantly surprised. The damaged roof had been removed. They had installed a new rail system for my sunroof and also a new cross-brace for the roof itself.

When I came in, the new roof and hood were being painted in the paint booth.

Today the car will get a new hood. Tomorrow they're going to do the roof and a new interior headliner. On Wednesday they are supposed to clean it up for me. Any car at a body shop gets realy dusty and dirty in the process - luckily the cleaning is part of the bill already.

They expect my car to delivered this week between Wednesday and Friday. That makes me very happy and excited!

I'll be tinting the "Lizard" next week and I'll post pics as soon as I get my car!!!
