Gen6 Headrests - Do these work?

Thinking of getting these with 8" screens in the back for the kids?

Yes or No? Do they match close enough or look like crap?

Not my style personally, don't think they go with the seat fabric

I'd just try to find some headrests at a junk yard and put the screens in them, or if you have headrests with screens already, try finding a seat from an SE at a junkyard and then have someone use the fabric to cover your headrests.

You should ask your local dealership if they have an option where they will install dvd players into your oem headrest. I know it's available down here.

Gen6 Update ..............

Decided to order Myron and Davis Headrests with matching material .... it is a couple hundred $$$ more, but worth the money in the long run. That way I get to keep stock headrests when I trade in the car.

Wise choice on going with the stock fabric. It would be sweet to have LCD screens in the headrests.

Don't forget to find a way to cover up the screens when not in use. Someone else in the neighborhood is going to like them as much as you do--maybe even more.

They come with covers But the car is never outside except at work and we have pretty good secuirity people here. I would be more worried about at the mall or something, but the windows are pretty dark tinted, so probably should be ok. I'll post pics once I get them installed.

Well there is the 7" headrest system from Toyota...

Linkage

That sells for around $1700 Canadian or $1400 US including dealer installation. Not a bad deal if you ask me...

There was also the factory DVD system for the rear seats. I'm sure you could have integrated this into your AVIC Z1 and retained a "stock" look to the interior.
