i found a site that sells the TRD muffler for alot cheaper than some other places I've found. most places like trdsoure.com and trdparts4u.come are expensive and are usually over 400$. This one I found is under 400.
Anyone know if this exhaust muffler and piping sit higher up then stock? The stock one hangs pretty low and when I put on the TRD springs I am afraid the pipes will scrape.
i am dropped on trd springs with 18s and i dont scrape my pipes. Also my trd muffler doest scrape, it is smaller than the stock one so it doesnt hang low.
my muffler doesn't scrape either, if i do scrape it's usually my front bumper
but i did scrape the muffler this one time, it was when i was moving up and had my trunk full of furniture, computers and whatnot. then one of my back tires fell into this ridiculous pothole. ouch the wheel was tucked into the fender as it was with all that stuff in there.

dude my exhaust is fully aftermarket im using tein and i have yet to scrape my exhaust and my exhaust hangs very low so that the incabin noise is quieter.. but i have hit a part of a driveway going down on my splash guard so my splash guard is hanging cuz im missing one retention clip oh well.. i have to go to toyota neways.. hehe.. pick up some parts
I have flowmaster muffler and its tucked pretty close into the body. I'm dropped at 2 inches and the muffler itself has yet to scrape...but niumeous times, my muffler tip has scrapped going down driveways.
I must have a weird driveway. My stock muffler scrapes just a bit when backing out straight with my kids in the back. The tip has never scraped though. I'm dropped about 1.5". I'll scrape my oem front lip also if I pull into my driveway straight.
