5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I know others have posted these here as well...so here you go.
I will likely be selling my stock 07 Camry SE Wheels and Tires. If I recall correctly, I've got about 13,000 miles on the tires. No curb damage. I will be taking the TPMS out of them.
If anyone is interested, shoot me a message, and an offer. I don't have any pictures right now, but can surely get some.
If I don't get any takers here, onto ebay they go next week.
Well, for about a month I looked for something very similar to Akira's Nex-O Px5's. I like that 5 spoke look in a gunmetal type finish with the spoke going all the way out to the rim edge. When you limit to gunmetal finish there just aren't a ton to choose from.
I almost went with the ASA JH9, but couldn't convince myself on the rivets or the black interior of the rim.
So finally - I gave in and had to copy Akira's ride (emailed Akira for approval - thank you!!!! I feel sickly guilty about copying since rims are the most notable exterior diferentiator, but I'm guessing I'm never going to run into Akira cruising around in Green Bay.) I'm already on TRD springs and tint...Needless to say, I'm probably not going to posting too many pix of my ride.
BTW - I'm loving the TRD Springs ! Just enough drop to be noticeable. Ride comfort down from a 9 to an 8.7. Handling up from a 6 to a 9.
Sorry Scott - at this point i am going to stick with selling them all together. I did see an auction on ebay a couple days back though. You may want to check there. If I remember right, bidding was at $247 for one rim...basically new. They were a swap out at the port.

All posts like this should start with an ASKING PRICE, this isn't ebay!
You could ask nicer. Anyway, I'm not sure what they are worth. In the back of my mind i was thinking $450-500 since they still have a lot of tread life left on the tires and the wheels are in like new condition.
Imatation is the best form of flattery. Akira's set-up looks sweet. I have also considered doing the same. I have about $2200.00 to spend on some wheels and tires but I can't make up my mind.
Sorry if I came off mean, but it's the fact that sales like this always turn into arguments because the seller doesn't know how much something is worth, wants everyone else to tell him, and then gets offended if it's not as high as he thinks it should be.
