My 2005 Camry SE w/ Luminics JDM Yellow 9005 bulbs

u can just google luminics bulbs and you will find many websites that sell them.. i believe i bought mine from http://www.automotivelightingusa.com...ain_page=index

its hard to capture the true color of the fogs b/c of the white light from my low beams, but the last picture shows pretty well how yellow they are.. also take into account that the last pic was during the day too

well, 9006 bulbs are low beams bulbs which are what the stock fog lights take.. they run at 55W with a cap on the top of the bulb.. 9005 bulbs are technically high beam bulbs and run at 65W with no cap on the top of the bulb.. to use the 9005 bulbs in the 9006 position, all u need to do is shave off a few mm of one the tabs that hold the bulb in place and little tabs that are inside of the plug.. heres a quick description

the top tab, cut off about half of it on the left hand side..

and:

perfect description of what you have to do inside the plug

as for choice of bulbs, the nokya yellow bulbs are also very good.. both work very well.. any more q's just let me know and im sure other ppl will chime in too

I did the 9005 conversion, and it exploded as it was becoming too hot with the heat shield right in front of it.

Use the regular 9006, or have fun getting all the shattered pieces out.

ive ran the 9005 conversion on both my older cam and my new cam for over 2 years now and have not had one bulb explode. the wattage difference is negligible. you might have touched the bulb with your hand
