5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
There are a good number of things from the tC that will fit on our cars but they will never be listed as Camry specific since they arent "designed" to be used in our cars, and if you do use them in your car, the warranty on that item is void because you didn't use it for its intended purpose.
I have installed a Scion tC lightweight crank pulley from ZPIRacing and there's definitely a noticeable difference.
As far as tC headers, they will not fit. They will fit at the top of the block, but at the bottom, the flange is different. You can always get the header and then do some cutting and welding to make it fit, but... yeah, I wouldn't.
It is said that the tC superchargers do in fact fit in our cars, but again, you would void not only the warranty on the supercharger, but also on your car if you still have a warranty. On top of that, a couple of the hoses and stuff will need to be fabricated, but otherwise, should be a direct fit. You may also need to extend your battery wires a little bit because you might have to turn the battery sideways in order to get the supercharger to fit.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

I've done all the work on them myself but I haven't dared to get into the "LED shifter, tire caps, and interior kit."
I expressed my opinion and I'm sorry. But now that you've made it personal I would like to add that those LED "mods" are also gay.
Whitechocoate said it...there a couple things out there...jsut depends what you want and how much you wanna spend. There are coilover kits, springs, apparently now they have a turbo kit, body kits, headers from JP performance and OBX racing, TRD RSB, SRI's, i've been looking into tc stuff but no luck as of yet other than whitechocolate's pulley

I may just buy a Tc header and modify it to fit properly. It's not a big deal but I would rather buy parts specific to the Camry so I don't have to screw around so much.

Personal? How did I make it personal? Was it the "three thumbs down" or was it the fact that I was clarifying a rather offensive statement you made.
Nevertheless, if it wasn't personal before it sure as hell is personal now, so you'd better bring it in the private messages bitch. (pm sent)
