Well Polarg bulbs are just regular filiment bulbs. Their brighter then LEDs of course, but LEDs tend to have a sharper color, typically more white/blue
I will always live by Polarg. I had them for reverse lights, license plate lights, dome lights, etc. They are a bit expensive but they've lasted a long time with me. I've gone months and months without changing them.
I was introduced to the LED's and I upgraded all my lights in the camry with them and I have to agree with darksparkz..they do have a sharper look to them.
what do you want these bulbs for ?? license plate ? dome light ? anyways i got the polarg m4 or w.e.. the bulb has a blue tint but the colour output is white with a tad of blue ... it looks alright. There was this thread about them not too long ago ill try to find it
Here are 2 pics of the polarg bulbs installed in my license plate lights. I think they look better than the LED's becuase LED lights tend to send only a beam of light and not disperse the light like incandescent bulbs. Although for my map lights i have LED's. But they are matrix style which are 5 LED bulbs on one base aimed in all different directions. These are very bright! But for the license plate bulbs i recommend these!
nope. I got he LED's for my plates, map lights, dome, etc. and they give out a violet/white type color. Its not a crystal white like the Polargs. I thought I was going to get the same whiteness as the Polargs but I didn't.
Actually, here's a Netforcer's cardomain page...if you scroll down, you'll see what "white" LEDs look like. and as u can see from the Polargs, they are different in color.
