i dont wanna mess anything up or take more time then needed.. but i wanna remove both my head lights n tail lights to get them tinted.. anyone hav pictures on how to do this(remove)? if so it would be very helpful.. thanks!
first i think u need to tell us what car you have.. im assuming(hopefully) that your car is a camry between the years of 2002 and 2007.. either way.. tail lights all u gotta do is open your trunk and screw them out on years 2002-2006.. on the 07 im not sure, i think u may have to take out the rear side panels.. for the headlights, i think for all years you have to take off the bumper..
ya my bad u guys can delete this post i accidently reposted.. my car is gen6.. my post is a lil below.. with the tag gen6
You need to take off the front bumper cover to get out the headlights!
Tail lights are easy ... just remove the covers inside the trunk and trunk lid and unbolt!

If you don't want to take off your bumper, then you don't deserve blackhoused headlights... it's a lot of work to black them out.
haha yeahhh, it is a lot of work. i did mines and the inside of the passenger headlight lens got messed up. i just got a new one so imma have to redo it.

Is that why the manual recommends that you take the car to the dealer to replace a front turn signal bulb?
(Or is it just hybrids that have this issue?)
Front bumper cover comes off quite easily in like 10-15 minutes of CAREFUL work. For anyone with a very slight mechanical sense, it's a walk in the park blindfolded! ... but I guess Toyota recommends taking it to the dealer for two reasons:
1. To bang you for probably 1.5 hours in labor for a $2 bulb.
2. Most people who buy the Camry aren't DIYers, and don't have the technical knowledge to even figure out that the front bumper cover needed to come off to get the headlight out of the vehicle!
