nothing better than the most light output for your money, now just do everyone else driving a favor and cover up/bend down the squirrel spotters
I agree the 4300k is the way to go. I am planning on doing the 3000k yellow fogs too. I like spotting squirrels, but don't like blinding people and getting hit head on so I already took care of that
I used the Xenendepot 4300k kit. Once nice thing about them is the ballast is very thin. Yeah they are about $400 and some kits are only like $250ish, but they use all phillips parts You get what you pay for, the extra money is definately worth it. I tucked the ballast under a little lip on the fenders and put the plastic cover back on ... I will take some pictures later this week. I had my digital cam with me last night, but left the memory card on my desk

did you go in the fender linner or take the bumper off.
ps
did you use their harness or just plug in directly

The XenonDepot kit comes with a relay harness, which is the proper way to go.
watchcrazy, I would be very interested in seeing some pics. I want to do this same mod later on, so any past experiences on the same machine will help me out.
Did you just fold the flap in the projector to fix the squirrel spotter issue, or did you do something else like liquid weld or aluminum tape?

I went in the fender and I did not have to remove the bumper. Their harness plugs right into the factory harness .... it is a really good set up. So easy to install. I'm an idiot and I figured it out

I have seen sets that just have the ballast and no harness
thanks
do you like 4300K
AND WHAT THE HELL IS THE SQUIRAL SPOTTER SYNDROME WITH THESE HIDS
why do they go up the trees...arent they projectors.
do i have to modify this.
Stop hitting on watchcrazy. He's a married man - I think...
Yeah, the Camry has projectors. But inside the projectors there is a small metal flap which reflects a SMALL amount of light upwards at a 45-degree angle. That's meant to light up signs above. With low-intensity light (halogens), that works well.
If you put HIDs in there (high-intensity light), then the light reflected by that flap is no longer SMALL, and it basically almost looks like high beams. Other drivers are blinded by this. So when you install HID on this car, you gotta fold that flap down flat, so that light is NO LONGER reflected at a 45-degree upwards.

is it a simple bend and will it bend back if you sell the car.
and do you have to take the lights apart to do this. cause i can't do this,

i want hids bad but that sound like work
Headlight removal is NOT necessary. However, some people have had to temporarily remove the battery in order to fit their hand behind the headlight. But that's very easy...
You can also poke around in there with some sort of tool, although using your fingers is best.
