hey y'all, seeing that its getting warmer slowly here in canada, its freaking snowed last weekend! i figured i would have my summer rims put on, yeah! , don't mind the car, it's a lil dirty.... i've been itching to have my rims put on since they arrived 2 weeks ago... as you will see... they have a sweet lip, 2 1/2" lip... and before y'all say i need a drop, i am not planning to drop the car at all, it was a nightmare with my last car.... my roads here are crap... hence my tire size, i would love to put on 20" rims, but that would mean 35 profile, which is impossible here... so i went with TOYO T1R's 225/40/19 wrapped around AXIS MOD's 19" x 8" with the offset of 45... excuse my amature photography.... i barely know how to use the digi cam... well here are the pix, let me know whatcha think

Did you paint the OEM brake calipers or are those aftermarket? If painted, did you use the G2 Caliper Paint? I've been thinking about doing the same to mine (red) but I wasn't sure how well the paint will hold up over time.
Does anyone know if painting the calipers would void the warranty?

hey thanx y'all for the input... first off... dammit it IS gonna freaking snow tonite!
i do have a clear bra on... thats a hood deflector... i was at toyota getting some issue done with the car, right after getting the wheels done... spent the day at the dealer...again... this time i didn't bring the laptop with me, otherwise i'll be posting y'all from there... the calipers are painted... took one day to do it, had the car up on blocks waiting for the paint to dry.. used caliper paint from "spyn" same company makes rims... its german... highly recommend... i thought of going with blue.... BUT you'd have to get the right blue that matches the toyota ribbon blue, othewise it'll look tacky with the blue not matching... and i doubt the factory paint would withstand caliper heat.... the car is tinted, 50% on the sides, 20% on the rear... its subtle but i have police issues, and i don't want to give them anymore reason to stop me... grrr snow!! wtf am i gonna do?? i hear the i might get upto 10-15cm!!! my T1R's aren't gonna hold onto the road at all... gotta find a way to get y sorry butt to work somehow.... damn you canadian weather!!

IF you got a 3m bra already your hood, there is no need for a hood deflector. I've seen a video of that 3m clear bra being hit by a pellet gun and "stabbed" by a knife at close range suffer no damage at all.

A friend has a 3M setup on his silver Benz and I noticed it has yellowed a bit and now can easily be seen on his hood piece and where the sides end..
On white it definitely would show.
