Go to another dealer. Programming is not to the keys but to the car's computer.

My manual tells you on page 39. Check to see if yours is the same.

SELECTING DOORS TO BE UNLOCKED WITH ENTRY FUNCTION

The unlocking operation has 2 modes.
To change the mode, within 1 m (3 ft.) of the vehicle press the lock switch and the alarm, trunk opener or unlock switch simultaneously for five seconds. The ignition must be turned off. When the mode is changed, the buzzer will sound and an indicator is displayed on
the multi−information display as follows:

Mode Door to be unlocked Wireless remote control buzzer Indicator and meter buzzer
1 All doors 2 beeps 1 beep
2 Driver’s door only (from driver’s door switch)
All doors (from frontpassenger’s door
switch)
3 beeps 1 beep

Repeating the above process allows you to toggle between 'MODE" 1 and 2.
[This forum dosn't hold the place holders too well, for vertical alignment.] NO Complaint, just bare with me.

Good Luck, I (added the)/programmed the door locks to relock at ~12 MPH, for my childs safety. (Page 41)

The info is in the owners manual, you just have to "wade thorugh the junk".

"Stealers" not required, to do this!!!

Wow, I did not know you could do that (manual is not in my possession). So the other thread was incorrect on being the only way. Thanks for the info.

PRGMng,

Glad I could help. Have fun when you got the manual!!!!

Sorry, I didn't catch you "Tangerine" as not being the original thread starter, on this reply. (Edit to correct.)
But if you want, you could still end me the hundred, don't give it to the dealer. Wife would like a good dinner. JK

I did my programming in the "manual mode" from the inside. NOTE: this method only lasts as long as the battery remains attached, no car bettery voltage = lost setting.

There is a time restriction, YOU HAVE TO DO IT WITHIN THE CORRECT TIME LIMIT!

Didn't work for me. Tried couple of times to press lock switch and the alarm, trunk opener or unlock switch simultaneously for five seconds..... no respond.

What does it mean "indicator is displayed on
the multi−information display"?
