After market Dealer installed Alarm System

So after spending almost 7 hours completing a purchase of a new 07 SE i4 i was so mentally drained that the dealer talked me into buying their certified after market alarm / remote starter system from Pursuit - I believe its the v4 system.

Anyways the thing is annoying as shit - Anytime you lock or unlock the doors, use the remote starter or do anything the damn thing beeps the horn at least once, usually twice...its a 'feature' of the alarm/remote starter system. I HATE HOW IT BEEPS ANYTIME I WANT TO GET IN THE CAR OR SET THE ALARM..>GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I asked the dealer to make it so its a silent lock/unlock/remote start setup but he said its not possible.....

Can anyone vouch and say otherwise? Everyone is always looking at me as i lock, unlock, etc my car...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrr

Take it back to the dealership and demand it to be done.
I have a local stereo shop installed the Viper alarm for my 07 LE i4. At first, I was like you about hating the sound of the horn everytime and armed and/or disarmed my car. A week after the installed, I came back and insisted that I want to hear the chirp sound only (no horn) They went to the website of Viper alarm and figured it out the. I could have made it silent but I like the chirp sound. Good luck with your dealership.
