Canada New owner of an 07 XLE in Titanium Silver

Picked up the baby on Friday 13th. Its great! All the bells and whistles except no NAV (already have a Tom Tom GO). The only thing its missing is there are no factory HIDs. I'll have to think about that upgrade later. The Bluetooth is cool. Stereo is fine. I bought the rear trunk black cargo liner to protect spills, fits great. Was thinking of tinting the windows as I did with my other cars, but I think I'll hold off on it, I notice another friend of mine had his Camry tinted with the auto-dimming rear view mirror, and my 2003 Corolla and it doesn't react as fast in dimming... I'll monitor the boards on the tranny issues, cross my fingers on mine. Will have to update my web site with new photos of Camry. Question to all who have XLEs, that damn remote is expensive $350 (can). you only get two of them, and can't start the friggin car without it. Any cheaper availabilites of the remotes in the U.S. ?

Harvey.

Congrats on the new horse! You don't need the NAV unless you're direction-impaired. I don't know why people waste thousands of dollars on that except to look cool.

You should tint the windows for sure. The rear-view auto-dimming mirror still works.

For a HID kit, go with the XenonDepot conversion kit cuz it uses Phillips components. And cover the squirrel spotters.
