not sure if this is normal!

Can someone try this on their car for me. Turn on the engine. Press on the brakes real hard and see if it makes a click noise. When i do this on my car i hear a click noise that is freaking annoying. Also From going into P into R or D it makes the clicking noise too. I am not sure what the problem is.

It could be the mechanism that allows you to shift out of park.

I can't do it it on my car though so you'll have to wait for someone else to try it.

Well even if i leave it on park and just press on the brakes real hard it makes a clicky stretchy type of noise.

All I heard was the locking & unlocking when going in & out of park.

A question, why push on it that hard in the first place? It could be the ABS, unless I didn't understand your post before. ABS will make clicking noises like something is grinding.

actually it s not that hard. Just like regular breaking. This only happens at startup or when im in park ready to reverse.

found the problem. The spring where the brake petal is was hitting a piece of hanging wire causing the clicking noise.

It's probably your knee. Take it to the doctor and have it replaced under warranty.....and get your money back too!!
