5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Do anything think the back seat of the 07 SE is too straight. I know there's a V-Brace in that truck so we can't tilt or fold down the seats. However I really want to know if we can customize the tilt feature by ourselves? My family complains that rear seats' back too straight and I feel the same way too. Anyone feel the same way? And is it a possible thing to do?

Brake lights aren't broken, I just don't brake.

Interesting trade off, reclining back seats vs. fold down back seats. As the owner and driver of my XLE, i was slightly disappointed the seats didn't fold down, since I'll never ride in the back of my own car. OTOH, its much more comfortable for the kids.
Oh no.. sorry, my english is not very good. What I mean is the angle of the back cushion. It's feel like it's almost 90 degrees to the horizon. I want to make it tilt back a little to provide more comfort.
Both the XLE and SE have the V-brace. You should be able to get the reclining seats fdor the XLE in the SE... however, it may cost you. My brother has the XLE... I'd have to take a look at the back seats and see how they work. You can do anything for the right amount of $$$
Oh thanks for your reply, I didn't know XLE have the V-brace too. So, it can be done even though there is a V-Brace. So I guess the salesperson at toyota is lying!
