5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I just got my 07 SE last weekend. I have not yet picked up a new phone yet but my personal carrier is Verizon (waiting to check out the LG VX9400) and my work carrier is Cingular. I just had my administrator order me a new Bluetooth phone for work. My question is does anyone know if you can set up profiles for two different phones in the Camry?

I have 2 phones set up mine. Only one will connect at a time via BT.
Yes you can. I am not in my car at the current moment but if I remember right you can configure your car for 3 or 5 phones (I forgot which). Keep in mind, my model has NAV so I do not know if this applies to stock head units as well.
The only downfall is that you can only select to connect to one phone at a time.

I have the stock JBL sound system and currently have 2 phones paired via bluetooth. Like everyone else has said, you can only use one at a time, but I believe you can have up to 6 phones paired.
Part of the process of pairing the phone involves giving it a specific name, such as 'Work Cell' - spoken by you into the microphone and recorded to the system. When choosing which previously paired phone to connect to your voice saying the name of each phone will be played back until you select which one you want to use at that time.
The name you have given that phone will then appear in text on the radio display with the Bluetooth symbol next to it and your cell phones signal strength.
Hope this helps.
