Anyone get to 600 miles without refueling (Non-TCH)
Anyone manage to drive 600 miles without refueling yet? The furthest I've done was 559 miles on 15.9 gallons so far. Since there was still 2.5 gallons left, 600 miles seems entirely possible.
559 Miles!!
Are you sure? Thats pretty much what the camry is rated at for highway driving, and that's a dyno test at 48mph I believe (no wind resistance). I truly hope my camry gets this kind of milage, because with the money I save in the next few years I'll be able to afford to buy a house! LOL
Ive got 505miles in my V6 once. Usually average about 450.

The most mile I got is 450 miles. With this number, I believe I still have at least 2 gal in the tank. Another thing is if I drive on a pretty flat, no-hill free way and keep below 75mph, I can easily hit 33mpg(sometimes it shows more then 34 mpg, depends which area). Therefore, 33*18.X= at least 594. So I guess 600miles in one tank is possible, but it is not a very good thing to try.....(PS:my car is 07 V6 with A/C always on)
what do i need to do to get that kinda mileage ????. i am avreageing about 24 mpg and i have the i4 xle.. my drive is halph city halph highway and i do go through rolling hillsids but nohing extreme . please help when i fuel up my info center never gives me no more than 380 miles cruising range ... and my tank average is never above 27mpg ever
I wrote down the odometer mileage when I filled up and compared it to the next time I filled up. I fill up until it clicks and stops. I don't put any more after that.
While I think 600 miles is entirely possible, I'm a bit afraid to try it because I was nervous running my fuel tank as low as I did.
By my calculation, I beat the highway rating slightly since 559 miles /15.9 gal = 35.16 MPG. At this rate of consumption, it would take about 17 gal to do 600 miles but that would only leave me with 1.5 gal.
It was all highway driving and I was going about 70-73 MPH and not drafting anything. Only thing aside from myself was my one rolling duffel bag, maybe 35-40lbs with my clothes, fastened to the back seat with seatbelts.
The only mod that I've done to my car is mud guards. Everything else is stock. I did an oil change with Catrol GTX 5W-20 and a Purolator Pure One filter at 2700 miles but that was it. Tires are inflated to the proper pressure...
My norm is about 470-500 miles on 15 gal which is a bit less than what I got on this trip. My worst was 27 MPG, average 32-33 MPG, and best is this 35.16 MPG so far. Car has 4100 miles on it if any cares.

I just bought my 07 SE (has 225km on it now) and its just below 3/4 tank left. Mileage could be worse for some of you beacause of weather, if you're in a colder area you're definitely going to get worse mileage. With summer coming up you should pay attention to it now, I know I am!
im in san diego .. no such thing as cold weather.. and i know im light fooottedon the pedal couse when my girl friend drives it mpg goes down to 18-19 mpg she's the speedster and thats why she hardly ever gets to drive my car !
I'm assuming you don't have an XLE wich has the MPG calculator display. I'm wondering how accurate the display is? any know? Going on a trip this summer so I'm going to check it against miles/gals

Trip meter averages 1.49 mpg higher than actual mpg over a 13,000 mile check.
