I did this with success and for a day they looked nice. I even have pictures which I will post. My 99 corolla had S4 projectors with HID, so the bug was biting at me. So today I ordered a HID kit and by the middle of this week I'll post pics of both the HIDS and the 9005->9006 swap. I know the beam pattern won't be as good as the S4 projectors, but that was a pain in the a$$ to do, but its better then retro fitting H4's. eb
