Hid Wiring installation Need Help Please Guru Needed

I am hooking up my hids and need help
on the ballast side that connect to the stock harness with a cap connection, it has a black and a red wire that I will attach pins to. I would say the black is ground and the red is positive.
on the factory harness that plugs into the stock halogen, one the passenger it is white and black, on the drivers side it is white and brown.

1st. the ground (return to battery) wires should be "white with black tracer" on all lamps.
2nd. the 12v power (source [switched & fused] from battery) is a "solid" black, which is the RH low beam.
3rd. the 12v power (source[switched & fused] from battery) is a "solid" brown, which is the LH low beam.

Questions should include most vehicle details, to help eliminate errors because of model/level/engine/tranmission/and heat/cool system differences.

Your ballast instructions should tell you which is + plus. Tell me what your install instructions say, and I will tell you how to connect to the factory harness.

I think i have the wrong instructions.
it say the white is + and the black is negative on the ballast
but****
my wires are acutally red and black on the ballast part the ties into the stock harness
