Hid Wiring installation Need Help Please Guru Needed

Hi

I am hooking up my hids and need help

on the ballast side that connect to the stock harness with a cap connection, it has a black and a red wire that I will attach pins to. I would say the black is ground and the red is positive.

on the factory harness that plugs into the stock halogen, one the passenger it is white and black, on the drivers side it is white and brown.

which is which.. please thanks a ton...

1st. the ground (return to battery) wires should be "white with black tracer" on all lamps.
2nd. the 12v power (source [switched & fused] from battery) is a "solid" black, which is the RH low beam.
3rd. the 12v power (source[switched & fused] from battery) is a "solid" brown, which is the LH low beam.

Questions should include most vehicle details, to help eliminate errors because of model/level/engine/tranmission/and heat/cool system differences.

Enjoy the HID lights, and please remove the "squirrel spotters". "Be kind to your fellow drivers, first"

This makes item #2 "black" and #3 "brown" on my last post +12v DC (switched of course).

If you try to think like TOYOTA, vehicle electrical work is made a lot simpler.
Your ballast instructions should tell you which is + plus. Tell me what your install instructions say, and I will tell you how to connect to the factory harness.

Gen6 HID Wiring?????

Well

1st. Are the new bulbs "hard wired" to the ballast?

2nd. Who makes the kit? Model #? Do the have a web site with the install instructions?

I believe at this point the black ballast wire connects to the factory harness "white with black tracer" which is ground.

This would make the ballast red wire +12 volt source.

I would like to verify. A pix might help.
