Tubes being JB welded together

Reppin the 2GR

I'm about 80% done, I just need to make the battery bracket, and paint the intake... I'm so happy everything is coming together...

If I do get this done this weekend, ill be able to show it off to the fellow TN members from MD area at the CP meet

to answer everyone's questions

I am not getting a new lip kit, my lip is getting repaired right now cuz it got cracked

I didn't want to use a coupler, cuz I would've needed a lot of them... all the pieces are relatively short, plus I want a clean look, so JB weld

That's the thing, I need to make an new battery bracket because I moved it to fit the tubing. No engine pics until I'm completely finished... sorry

And nope, a short ram is not enough... any one can slap a tube and filter together to make a short ram, but it's a lot of work to get a cold air... and only a few people will attempt it. and that's where I want to be

Looks good... is that the biggest cone you can fit in there?

Better watch out for those big puddles as it's almost down as far as it can go.

My car's not lowered yet, so it needs to be one DEEP puddle for me to hydrolock.... that would mean half of my front would neet be submerged... not happening... plus I am very careful around puddles...

Fumes.. I'm not giving Ideas, I'm just sharing mine

I don't think that there is an actual cold air intake available for the gen5's... V6's at least, don't know about the I4's.. the battery is in the way
