High pitch noise with satellitte radio

I have a problem with my sirius radio in my 07 camry. When I accelerate the high pitch sound gets louder too. I called Sirius and bought the noise filter from the store but am confused on how or where to install it. The instructions say to cut the cable from the 12V battery and fuse in adaptor in the 12V wire circuit and then use the 3rd wire as a ground to the metal in the car. I'm not so good at these things and was wondering if you actually have to cut the power wire and install or if there was an easier way. Also is there an easy place to put it because the adaptor is a little bigger than I thought it was going to be. Thanks,

When my father got Sirius in his 07 Camry we had the same issue. This solved all the noise issues. (I assume your using the Aux Input) http://www.crutchfield.com/S-njVNdTW...er&i=127SNI135
