Question rims rubbing? gen 5.5 235/40/18?

hey guys well as the topic says, i've looked around but many of you have 225 setups with more meat, others 19's nothing really close to my range so just wondering if anyone heard anything about close to this range who hasnt replied yet maybe
basically I'm thinking of getting 18's on my gen 5.5 with trd suspension comming in soon
enkei rsv silver's with falken 325/40/18 ze512 tires
it's an investment but since this is my first wheel upgrade on my first car as well just wanted to make sure I won't have any regrets or later problems to deal with

thanks for input

My baby is on enkei or 52 wrapped in 235/40/r18 falken ze 512 and with the trd springs. I don't have any rubbing issues. The offset for my wheels are +38. So if your offset is +42 or below, 235s should be no problem, but if the offset is +45 or higher, than you should use 225 tires(225/45/r18)

This guy has a 2004 Camry with TRD springs, and he used 245/40/18's on Lexus rims that have a 45+ offset, no reported problems with rubbing:

nice find woodman thanks!
his are also 8.0 width my rsv's would be 7.5 so I'm guessing there should be less chance even

v6secamry love the pic first of all, but quick question is there any way to increase the offset if the wheels give +35 ? that's what I mean my first set of wheels + first car I don't know much about this, the rsv are two models +35 and +45 not sure which I'm better off with in this case

by the way does anyone have a comment on the tires I did some research and I beleive it should be a good fit with some meat but not too much at the same time to give good handling rim specs 18x7.5 tire 235/40/18

thanks guys

i would go with the +35 offset, it will look more aggressive because it sticks out more. My wheels are 18x7.5 i forgot to mention that earlier. Ever since I lowered it and got the 18's wheels my handling has improved. Since you are going to drop the car and get new wheels. I would recommend you getting the trd rear sway bar and trd front strut bar, which is what I also have on my baby, boy my camry handles so much better than stock.

ahh ok that cleared me up less positive offset = wheel more out i thought the other way around. will see at this point i wished it was v6 haha still pushes 120 but I mean just not good enough on accel. haha

anyone know any good sites for wheel+tire packages where they balance them for free? I found it on edgeracing for about 1100 with shipping any cheaper places anyone know of?

try wheelmax.com, haha I ordered from edgeracing.com too they got some fast ass shipping. Egderacing only has good deals on enkei's wheels and not much of selection on other types of wheels.

I like edgeracing they give a pretty good price and wheelmax doesnt carry enkei it seems unless i'm missing something

wondering if you ordered tires and rims from edgeracing they say they dont warranty if you pick tires that aren't recommended for the rims like falker 512 235/40/18 are too wide I think, wondering what you did (not sure if you bought them there)
but did they still road force test it and blalance it etc... ? let me know I'm about to buy haha

I did order from there, I was going to order 225/45/18 but they didn have that size on the ze 512 so i went with the 235/40/18. Yeah they balance and mount it for me. Go to the site and do the wheel package option. Its on the left hand side. Put in toyota--camry- and year etc.

I have 235/45/18 with 7.5 rims.... I matched the offset of the BBS rims on the sports model, +46 offset, once I figure out how to load the pics I will post one of my setup.
