Gen6 ground effect kit of ve v6

http://www.kgsengineering.com/rk-07u...e-p-16427.html

i was planing on getting this kit, I couldnt afford the se soo i went with le but invest in this kit. what you think?? should i go for it. i looked into the dealer ship if they have se kits, it would cost me 1200 just for the 4 main parts. this is 800 for the kit, and i still need to look into getting a piant job for it. I am thinking of putting paint on the kit b4 assemble so i would not have to loose my car for a day, beacuse it is my everyday car. feed back please i mean LE not VE

You can also try to buy the SE kit from some of the TN members here and hopefully they have the same color with yours. I almost bought the SE kit from Epsilon but his is white and my car is silver.

But buying the stock SE kit will require intricate cutting of the LE bumper for it to fit properly.

Bump!!! I thought the SE kit is just bolt on to the LE bumper. I thought wrong then.
Thanks for the tip.

Here are the carefully spaced holes in an SE bumper that ataches the stock Lip kit, Good luck trying to cut them yourself on a non-Se bumper to get the lip to fit right.

THanks for sharing this.

I am close to purchasing a kit for mines too and am thinking of copping Epsilon's kit since both our Camry's are the same color.

I might just look harder in to that RKSport one since it's also made of urathane.

btw, has anyone looked into the Special Edition lip kit that Toyota sells for the LE models?

Here's some pics of it:

IMHO, I like the SE kit better, but to each his own. According to this cardomain member, he paid 2000+dollars for this kit from Toyota. Way too much out of my wallet.

hold up, i've been wanting to get a lip kit for my 99 camry, and i've been looking at the '07 ones and they are nice...is it possible to get the lips from an '07 and put them on the '99?

I kno i'll be looking at modifications here and there but is it possible? AND the ground effect kits so the bring the bumpers and side skirts or are they talking about the lips(front and back lips adn side shirts)?

^it shouldnt matter...wat depends is year and maybe model

lammydi thanks for teh website, but their prices are high plus no one has answered the question i've asked if you need a body kit(front, back bumpers and side shirts) gentchino i'll suggest www.rushkits.com they have some nice looking kits there

If the "lip" on a gen 6 camry doesnt fit someone tell me so i can start saving for a body kit

^ The engine does matter because Gen6 V6 have dual exhaust.

The Special Edition is, more likely than not, a GST thing which generally isn't available anywhere else just like vinyl roof Camry or pinstripes.
