I think I'm going to go with Venture Shield film.
Found a guy local that uses Venture.
He's the only dealer that comes up in NJ and he's booked till the end of May.
Got a $500 quote.
Guaranteed for life not to yellow.
3M says their film is yellow resistant.
Here's a thread from the Corvette forum from a guy who installs the stuff in Australia.
Hi, it's me, the Invisible Car Bra guy.
When I started I checked out the different brands of film available. There are at least five out there and 3 of them are available to me in Australia. I use Ventureshield film because I found it to be better than the 3M and Bekaert films. Venture has also gone through 3 generations in the last 3 years improving what was already what I believe to be the best. The current production has a clear coat and is the smoothest, clearest film out there. Still the strongest as well! They are also making it in 55" wide and it will now cover a complete bonnet (hood to you yanks ) in one piece. It is guaranteed not to yellow, bubble or crack for the life of the film. The warranty is backed by the manufacturer.
3M was very yellow to start with and did not look good on a white car( and I have seen it look very green on a yellow car) They may have changed it since then.
Find an installer who uses patterns, Don't let anyone fit PPF from bulk film. They WILL cut into the paint, no matter how good they are.
Here's the product info if interested
