Gen6 OEM Navigation and auto-dimming mirror for 07 SE V6

I have read a few threads regarding installation of the factory navigation system in a JBL 6-disc equipped XLE, but has any SE owners done the same? If so, is it pre-wired or is it the same wiring and the XLE? How about the auto-dimming mirror, is it pre-wired?

Thanks guys

Guys, the nav i dont know, but the rearview mirror is easy, almost all SEs have moonroofs, so connection to wires is easy, PM me if you want a gentex compass, autodim, homelink rearview mirror, I have one I am not using, got it from dave. It is perfect condition and has the wire harness, cover, mount, everything, heck if youre in so cal i can install too....

I beleive there is a specific one you can get at Toyota, that may be plug and play with at least some 07 camry's...Which ones? You need to look where your overhead console is and see if you see a plug, as far as plug and play go....it is only 3 wires for a autodim / homelink / compass - ground, 12v constant and 12v switched, you need it easier than this ??? if so , go get it done at the dealer to be on the safe side.

Yes, it is. I bought a Toyota OEM auto-dimming/compass mirror off of Ebay a couple months ago, it was completely plug and play. I bought it for $88 shipped, and just an FYI, if you are planning to order this part from Toyota, they list it for $650.

When you say it is plug and play... did they just plug one connector into some socket or did have to do some wiring?

If you have a moonroof then the Camry is already pre-wired. There is a wire in the headliner that you plug into the mirror, that's it and you are done.

I have the XLE and it was not prewired for navigation. So I doubt that the SE is either.

Do you still have a link to this e-Bay selling or was it a single user posting a personal item?

It was a single seller, so you'll just have to look around. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I got my auto-dimming mirror from dave.57@cox.net

He is an honest seller... But I haven't gotten to installing my mirror since I have been busy with work and other life activities.

Check out this thread...
