Gen5 05 XLE Front Bumper Replacement $?

So, first I scraped the side of my bumper on some stacked edging stones while coming out of the garage (my mind was already at work instead of driving the car).

Then the biggest and raccoon I've ever seen strolled in front of me while I was going 50 MPH, and all I could do was hit him. In retrospect, it would have been better to try and hit him with one side of the bumper or the other, but my split second decision was to stay straight and hope that he would smoosh under. So, now the lower middle of the bumper cover is a bit deformed and the bumper "grill" cross members are waiting to be put under my pillow.

Has anybody had their front bumper cover replaced recently, and how much did it cost?

an unpainted front oem bumper will run you at least ~$200. add on the paint, and it'll cost anywhere from $300 - 400 total. good luck!

Sorry to hear about that. I had something similar happen to me. I hit a wild dog or wolf or something going 70mph and fucked up my bumper pretty bad. It is not cheap at all to fix. I can't remember how much I was quoted though.

List price at the dealer for a Bumper Cover with foglight holes (As I think All XLE's had foglights), is $218.31. Painting can have a wide range of cost. Try to find a good body shop to paint it. Also, price will depend on if you want them to replace the bumper, as well as how far you want to go with color matching.
