Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Yes, another thread by me, lol. I stopped by the local Toyota dealership and snapped some pictures of the only V6 LE that they have. Does $24K sound right for MSRP?
So basically im torn between this model for $24K, or a used 2004 Maxima w/ 56K for $18K. Im going to test drive both before deciding.
EuroPlate, where did you get the base price? Is that what the dealers actually have to pay for the car, or is that just the base price in FL? Because according to the sticker on the car, the base price is $23,340, plus $199 for the floor mats.
Price on the sticker of the vehicle you are showing is $24,159...you're forgetting to add the $620 destination charge. The dealer invoice information that I posted is available through Sam's Club...I have neighbour who works in Sam's Auto, Boat and RV program and he told me that the invoice prices they show are what dealers get. Most dealer will tell you that they'll sell anywhere from $300-$500 above invoice which is true but the fact is that you can do a lot better and even be well below invoice.

wow! $24,000 for a LE V6. i think that's too much. MSRP for my SE V6 was 24,000
$24,000 MSRP for a V6 SE...where and how? I've been looking to buy one for a few months now and the lowest MSRP i've seen is $25,490.00.
As for a stock V6 LE...everywhere I've looked (carsdirect.com, truedelta.com, samsclub.com and edmunds.com) show the MSRP in the low 24,000+ range. It's pretty much dead on as to what geoff posted in his picture.
I think I am going to have to call bullsh*t on that one... According to toyota.com the most stripped down 07 SE V6 has a base MSRP of $24,815 plus $620 for Destination/Handling for a total MSRP of $25,435.
geoff5093,
Go to edmunds.com or http://www.costcoauto.com/carresearch put in all options and add ~350 = dealer's invoice. At this time around you can get any 07 Camry for $500 under dealer's invoice. For the above Red car with just carpet: $21,495 + $350 - $500 = $21,345. I won't pay more than that at this time since I got email from a dealer (woburn toyota) offer me $500 under their invoice last week. PM if you need the email so you can prove to your dealer.

I checked that out and they have a dealer about an hour away that participates in the Costco program, but thats the only one. Do you think I could still bring that in and lower the price a bit?
