Gen6 2007 fnt pads--> excessive dusting

Hello everyone-
Am I the only owner that has excessive brake dust being deposited on the front alloy wheels or is everyone just living with the problem? I take the Camy for a few local errands and notice the front alloy rims are absolutely filthy..coated with this fine black dust. I'm contemplating whether or not to live with this until the oem pads wear out then go with a ceramic or possibly a metallic pad. Per chance has anyone tossed the original pads and replaced with a less dirtysome replacement pad?

A lot less brake dust.

I just live with it. I dust my wheels off every other day. Once a week, I use the car detail spray to clean the wheels. I am just waiting for the oem pads to wear out then I will replace them with ceramic pad like JoeB did.

I don't have that problem. It also depends on where you live and your driving and braking style. Stock pads are I believe ceramic. I don't think you want to do with metallic pads since they are very difficult to find, require an optimum heating temp and pricy.

I don't think the stock pads are ceramic, hence the excessive dust, mine does it as well, waiting to change to ceramics.
