Gen6 Tinting Camry LE in SF Bay Area

Just wondering if anyone can recommend any good auto tinting place in the Fremont, CA area?

Also, if anyone has done a 5% or 15% tint on their Camy with pics to show?

I see some other ones but it maybe too dark.

Thx.

Are you willing to drive across the bay to San Bruno?

They did a good job on my Camry. I had 20% on the back and 50% on the front using 3M CS.

I got my SE V6 tinted at Premier in Fremont and I'm very happy with the results. The service was great! I got the Charcool 20 in the rear and 35 in the front.

I posted pix of the car with tint, just to give you an idea. I didn't want to go to dark with the front because the cops in the Bay Area are known for pulling people over just for tint.

Yes.. That's my original plan.

I called that guy up today, haven't commited yet.

He was recommending the 3M Metallic Hybrid.

Do you know if that's a good choice?

I hate to get wireless phone/gps interference.

When I asked him will it interfere with wireless reception, he said 3M are immune to it. Is that true???

I was curious about the part "Nano-Technology Films (Ceramic Tint)"

Anyone know about this technology?

Is that good stuff or the 3M hybrid Metallic is better?

It states "

nano-technology films will not affect wireless signals that normally would with metallized films.
....
With thick ceramic dots (aka – “dot matrix”) that are placed on the top band of some vehicles’ rear glass, we have different ways of treating them so that the film does not lift."

I haven't had any problems with my cellular phone.

My GPS system is on my PDA and the receiver sits on the dash and connects to the PDA via Bluetooth. I haven't had any problems with that setup.

The 3M CS are great. I got the CS 20% back and 50% front also.

But I would *NOT* recommend the "King Tint".

Found out he was had cutt the tint and accidentally cut 2 holes in my vinyl on the left rear door panel. (now I have to spend $$$ to fix that).

Of course, he acted stupid and denied the whole thing now on my new car.

I have 5% on the back and 35% on the front, looks great. Once you get used to driving with it at night you're good to go. It's all about personal preference though.
