Probably not for long. Why would you even consider boosting on stock internals? If you're going to do it, do it right the first time and get forged.

imo: 8 psi on stock internals should be ok....BUT, u there are many other questions, to address: fuel,ignition, and exhaust systems all have a more critical role when boosting, u need to address those systems also. And let me just say if u have an auto trans, dont even waste ur time.

I dunno, what is your setup looking like? If you dunno, you might to go do some research.

What power are you looking at? Your engine can handle xxxx hp and not xxxx lb boost.

Big turbos vs small turbos.

You can opt for one of those "electronic superchargers" or one of those compressor cans used for cleaning keyboards and extending the hose to the intake.

you could get a T3 turbo from turbonetics.com. their T3/T4 turbos come with a wastegate that is preset to 8PSI and can go up to 27. i found one on ebay for 200$

Electric turbos dont work, and they can even restrict airflow at high RPM's.

LOL yea my bad. I was being sarcastic since I added quotation marks and followed up with a unrealistic method of gain. They do not work.
