Turn ON autolock?

This is odd, but my aus-made camry doesn't have the autolock feature when your transmission is turned out of "P"...

does anyone think that this is hard to wire up?

btw i'm talking about a gen 5.0
Thanks

I believe there are instructions in the manual, there are actual several settings that you can change between, from not locking the doors at all to locking after a certain speed or locking when moved into drive. Its all a combination of pushing the lock/unlock buttons and the ignition I believe.

Should all be in the manual, don't htink you should need to change any wiring.

i believe the procedure is to put the key in the ignition, unlock the doors from the drivers side module.. then tun the key to the acc position and then lock the doors and hold it.. u will see the seatbelt light blink between 1 and 4 times.. when i find the instructions in the manual, it will tell u the different settings.. im sorry if my directions are wrong, im trying to remember them off the top of my head.. but like everyone else said, its in the manual

CHANGING THE MODE
The mode toggles through from mode
1 to mode 4. To change the mode, do
the following:
1. Shift the shift lever into the “P” position
and close all doors.
2. Push the power door lock switch on
the rear side to unlock the doors.
3. Turn the ignition switch to the “ON”
position.
4. Within 5 seconds after the ignition
switch is turned to the “ON” position,
push and hold the power door lock
switch on the front side for about 5
seconds.
5. Open door warning light will flash to
indicate that the mode has been
changed.
The flashing of the open door warning
light indicates the mode which has been
selected.
 Flashing once, the function has
changed to mode 1.
 Flashing twice, the function has
changed to mode 2.
Flashing three times, the function has
changed to mode 3.
 Flashing four times,

================

Ok, i just tried it, but it doesn't work. I looked up my "real" version of the owner's manual, it wasn't listed. Maybe it only applies to US-camrys ...

I really think its not wired up for that function..
