+1 No antenna is much much better. I hated the power antenna on my SHO

glass mounted antennas FTW
my power antenna on my old integra broke constantly, and it was a pain to remove and expensive and tiume consuming to fix....i agree some cars look cool with them, but they can be a pain after a while
I saw a car the other day going through an automatic car wash with its antenna sticking up - not a pretty sight. Can you imagine the pain when going through a car wash and realizing you forgot to turn off your radio?
I prefer the embedded in-glass antenna types.

+2 sharkfins are a nice accent. In economy cars, I think the mini antenna goes with the "cute" look. These days, hood-mounted antennas of any kind just make the car old.
I just had to replace my mom's power antenna on her gen 3.5. I agree that if the car is older and has an antenna, a power antenna is classier even if it's more troublesome. However, I prefer my in-glass element antenna
