Kumho ECSTA SPT good tire? Nitto NeoGen ZR?

I'm looking at these two tires as they are both supposedly great tires for the money. The reviews seem better on the Nitto tires but I wanted to discuss this here to see what all you thought about these two tires.

Tire Rack also has the Bridgestone Potenza S-03 PP on Closeout right now for a great price in the size im looking at. Would you recommend this tire above the other two. Several of the reviews on the S-03 were not good at all, especially those saying the tire was very loud with road noise.

I want a good combination of performance and comfort/noise.

I've only personally had experience with Kumho tires, and they were great when I had them. I agree they are very good for the money. Low road noise, nice ride, great tread life!

Another tire that is GREAT for the money are the Falken Ziex 512's. I had them on my maxima and they were simply fantastic for about 60-70 a piece.

Edit: in regards to the Potenza's you mentioned, I looked them up and they look like a high performance tire. The ZR rating means a more rigid sidewall which would result in a rougher ride/more road noise.

I had Nitto NT 555 before. I love Nitto tires...quite, stick to the road wet and/or dry road.
Kumho is from South Korea. Nitto is from Japan. That said enough.
Here is the order of my preference for the value of each tire. (value=price/quality)
1. Nitto
2. Kumho
3. Bridgestone

I'm running the Nitto NeoGen ZR (225/50x17) with TRD springs, rear sway bar and front strut brace. I'm loving them. They are harsher and noisier than the stock Bridgestones that came on mine but the extra grip and better road feel are worth it. Before, the tires were sliding out before the suspension "gave out" but now just the opposite. Am thinking about upgrading the rear sway bar retainers so I can use the stiffest setting without worrying about encountering the problem of them ripping off as several people have had at the stiffest setting.

I really liked the Kumho ASX I had on my TL. Very comfortable, low noise level and good in the wet. Plus its one of the few tires that has a 30.000 mile factory wear warranty. Hard to find that in a High Performance all season tire.

i have had quite a bit of experience with tires over the years, and i can summarize my 2 cents: that kumhos are VERY hard to beat (bang 4 da buck), Nitto is up there on my list also, but Bridgestone does make very good tires too (also made in japan), just depends what ur looking for... the SO3 is more of a summer performance tire, have u looked at the potenzaRe960as pp, or the potenza050? IMO 2 of the best tires on the market all things considered. just avoid Michellin too overpriced and Goodyear is just plain crap. hankook and cooper also make a decent tire for low$. typicaly ur korean tires are the cheapest, while ur american, japanese, and european tires are a bit more costly.

Those other bridgestones are way out of price range... The S-03's are only on the list because of the closeout price. I want to stay below $150 per if possible.

I went to Discount tire/Americas Tire today and the salesman showed me the BF Goodrich G-Force Sport and he said these are better then the Kumho and Nitto tires. He said all the guys in his shop run them and love them... Have any of you had experience with these? They are also pretty affordable.

They also had the new INVO from Nitto... Any thing on these yet? They seem very good... They claim performance and ride comfort in one tire which is what we are all after...
