Well my car wont start, i have a 2007 LE V6 camry. about 6000 miles on it.. Windows are working, radio doesnt. I tried to start it in both N and P still no luck. Finally i disconnected the negative on the battery and it still wont work. Any clue? this ever happen to anyone else?
yea i dont hear a sound at all.. "engine immobilizer?" dont know what u talking about
There is a chip in the key that "talks" to i guess a chip in the car without that the car won't start. That is what the engine immobilizer does(it is enabled when the "security" light flashes)

Did it finally start with a jump? If not, call your dealer. It's under warranty. They should tow it in and find out what the problem is under warranty. Just make sure you didn't leave a door ajar overnight leaving the dome light on or something similiar, or then it will all be at your expense.
If the engine will not crank, yeah, try a jump start, if that starts it, then take it straight to the dealer and have them fix it warranty. If this is the case, it would seem like something's drawing power when it shouldn't be and they need to check and/or fix that.
If you used the same key to start the car you've used all along, probably not the key or immobilizer device, but who knows. Whatever it turns out to be, off to the dealer it goes, i'd be thinking.

Mike,
My kids left the door open a few times overnight...I had no problem starting the car due to that. Unless he got a huge amp with his audio system and left the key on for so long. It could be so many things.........

Im thinking it may be the engine immobilizer as well. As another poster said, it's very sensitive. The manual states that it may cause the engine not to start if you have a keyring on top of the car key, or something that may be interfering with it. Try the vallet key by itself.
sorry, but it started with a jump... I didnt leave the door open.. and even if i did i have all my lights off they dont turn on when the door is open. I dont know why it needed a jump i will take it do the dealer on my next day off
