Hi, I'm new here so I haven't really searched to see if there is a post for this, if so, I'm sorry, please re-direct me.
I have an 07 XLE but I liked the grille of the SE (black) so I purchased it from Toyota. I am going to switch it out and wanted to know if anyone had instructions to do so, so I don't have to pay $90/hr for a Toyota Mechanic to do it.

The shop manual approach calls for removing the entire front bumper. The dealer cost to do this matches this approach.
njerld posted instructions for an alternative approach than gained access to the two "sacred" retaining screws without removing the entire bumper assembly.

My b/f and I tried to do it and we got stuck at the part where you need the smaller screw driver to undo the two behind the grille. The space was just too small to get into, how far out can we pull it without damaging the front end? We put it all back together for now. Should I just have Toyota do it for me?
