Awesome.so here come the Ques.........

That the Scoshe kit?
How does it fit in terms of fit and finish? Finish matches stock interior grey? How do the corners on the Scoshe kit line-up?
The "inner" trim ring, is that a part of the Scoshe kit?
How hard was the Z1 to fit in the Scoshe the way it is, that's a super clean look so I'm wondering if that's just the std. fit w/ the Z1 and the Scoshe kit or is that a alittle custom "tweaking" on your/installer's part?

Thanks.

Actually it is a metra kit. The trim ring came with the kit. It was very easy and took no special install work to make it fit. The color is almost exact, nothing is perfect

Thanks, am I right that the only 2 major "off the shelf" kits currently available are the Metra and Scoshe? There's another thread here that shows the Scoshe not line up in the lower corners as well as your does....

i just installed a D3 with the schoshe kit this weekend....not the greatest kit...color is not close...more of a bronze type color...and yeah it matches up alright but not exact.....but the schoshe one i got...you can see the indents from the clips behind and there is some color fading...so at some point im going to get the metra and next time i take it out put that in.
