Question LE to SE headlights

I tried doing a search but came out with nothing.

I've always been admiring the SE headlights because it looks darker and more aggresive, but can it be done by just adding tint to the LE headlights? Taillights?

Going to spray paint my emblems this week. Would you recommend any particular type of paint? I belive someone here used Krylon Black paint, not sure on this, will have to check out the paint section at Home Depot.

You must be talking about Gen 5 right?
Because Gen 6, all models have the same headlights.

You can paint your existing headlights to mimic the color used in the SE models but that requires taking out the lense. You can add tint to the headlights but that will not only reduce the lighting output but also not make it look like the SE lights. Taillights also.

Any spray paint sold at Pepboys, Autozones etc should work.

Wouldn't you have to paint it and bake it?

BTW, I like the crystal clear LE/XLE lights better on the gen 5.5 than the SE ones. But I do like the tinted tails on the gen 5.5..
