Since you didn't specifically ask, I'll assume you didn't know this answer, but your lack of SAT button only means you can't have
integrated XM with your stock head-unit where you can use your head unit and steering wheel controls. Don't bother buying the Toyota kit (or an aftermarket kit like TERK XM-Direct) because it won't be compatible with your system.
However, there is nothing to prevent you from enjoying XM radion in your car by getting a standalone XM receiver and attaching it to your car in one of two ways:
- plug the headphone output of the XM receiver into the AUX outlet in your car, then you hit the AUX button on your head unit.
- Buy a XM receiver that has FM modulation. Essentially, the XM receiver broadcasts a very low FM signal, usually in the 89-91 frequency. You then "tune in" this station on your FM dial, no different than receiving any other FM broadcast.
