Hesitations and Misses.

I took my Camry in to get fixed, it had(still does) hesitations when i wason a low idle, say in a parkinglot..jerky motions. Toyota updated the computer, i went to pic it up. It wouldn't start. So they did the update again and it was fine for a week. After that i was sick for awhile and wasn't driving, when i got back in it started to do it again. Now Toyota wants to charge me again just to look at it.

Have any of had this problem? or any suggestions on what it is?

Maybe it's the way you drove from the beginning?

Mine usually does that, but only when I fool around with the gas. After a while driving right, it stops.

I bought it used last year, so it could have been doing it from the past owner's driving habits. I never noticed it until my dad drove it and pointed it out to me..

Maybe the last owner abused it or didn't break it in correctly. The hesitation is due to the lack of pressure to the engine when you press the gas pedal. The misses is probably due to the tranny. Get it checked. See if you need to change the transmission oil as well.

Like I said, my camry only does it when I fool around. Meaning, I take my foot off the pedal so that I can control the gear changes when I want it to shift gears at certain RPMs.

I really should stop doing that though.

Thank you! I'll take it in, i did get 2 year powertrain warenty so i'll get them to check it out. Maybe they'll listen too me this time when i said it was the tranny!
