From the options that I can see in the Rav4... KBB lists it as $6415 in your area under good conditions. It does have a lot of miles... but if it was well maintained, then it should last you for at least another 3-5 years. But that is only if it was well maintained... meaning that it got what it needed to be done done at the right time.
Honestly... I don't think this it's that bad of a price. So... I say go for it. There are two other Rav 4's for say within 30 miles from where you are. one is a 2002 and the other is 2006. I'm not sure how much they were... but if you check the kbb site, you can get the dealer info. They are probably out of your range though... coming from a dealer.
Do more research and comparison. Check autotrader or something. Always do research before you make your final decision... hoever, don't wait too long because used cars can go very quickly at the right price.
