Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
LunarMist,
Is your Camry's color Lunar Mist (silver)? If so, have you thought about the color of the wheels? The reason I'm asking is because the shade and tone of silver is different than the ones painted on most silver wheels. For any other color, I think it is ok since there is contrast, but to have two like colors together but in different shade and tone might not look good? (perhaps this is why the gun-metal color on the factory rims looks very nice with lunar mist... contrast).
To answer your question though, I like the MRR wheels more than the other, although I'm not sure how it will look overall on the Camry.

I have thought about that and I thats why I like the hyper silver and hyper black. Standard silver painted wheels don't look as nice IMO. The gunmettal is a great combo with the lunar mist (silver) color car but unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any 18's I liked in that color. I figure a hyper is as good as it gets. Go figure... out of the thousands of wheel choices I'm having such a hard time finding what I like.
The MRR would probably look better because of the way the spokes extend to the edge of the wheel. The spoke is not fat at the edge of the wheel and there is an extremely small lip but a lip nonetheless - almost perfect in my opinion as far as balancing style and appearance.
The Wheelmax wheels look great from that angle but I think they will look different when mounted. The wheelmax wheels would look better if they had a lip but since they don't, it will probably look a little funny - your wheel would have sort of a "flat face" to it. The fact that it has no lip and spokes are wide at the edge of the wheel will also make it look bigger than the MRR wheel.
At the end, it's up to you. Where's Epsilon when you need him?
