any good custom bodyshops in SoCal

Sup guys, I'm looking for some body to paint and install an RKSPORT body kit on to my 2007 Camry.

So sar I've only been to autoexplosion (www.autoexplosion.net) near Inglewood, one day body paint Long Beach (they have tons of experience installign import show cars), and a place called DOS autobody (www.dosautobody.com) near Garden Grove, Ca.

The average quote I am getting is around 1000 dollars or MORE

I was quite shocked to find these quotes since some people here only paid around half that.

Just checking to see if any of you SoCal peeps know of any other place where I can take my ride to.

I don't seem to have time right now to do anything to the car by myself so I've just been taking my car around on referrals after work..

Thanks in advance..

$1k+ is kinda high, especially for a lip kit. But on the other hand, at least their work is well known and guaranteed. Did that price quote includes installation?

Yeah, installation's included and an average of 5 yr. warranty was included in these quotes.

autoexplosion's quote was 850 including install

onedaybodypaint in Long Beach was 980 including install

dos autobody was about 1300 bucks including install

One Day Body & Paint covered against peeling, paint erosion, in general for the full 5.

Autoexplosion offered a 4 year covered for the same thing.

Do's was actually seven year. (which probably explains their highest price quote)

None of these companies covered paint chipping.

Check out the "man" PJ Bonifacio ---- Mr has numerous AE86s . http://pjbonifacio.com/index.htm

He does great work. Might be a little pricey but does a great job.

auto explosion does one of the best by far. Estaban is really straight forward and give decent prices. I stand by his work. Just tell him, Richard with the Solara send ya there. He'll know
