Gen6 TRD or SE springs for my LE?

I want to improve the ride of my '07 LE V6, it has too much lean and the ride is way too cushy for me. Looking to make it more sproty and responsive. I'm currently running 17*7 rims with P225/55/17's. What is the difference between the TRD and SE springs? Do the TRD springs cause a lot of drivability problems, bottoming, etc? Do the solid SE sway bars make much difference? Any other options? Thanks for the input.

From what I heard, the TRD springs are stiffer and give you more of a drop, about 1.5" all around. I heard from a few people that the TRD springs are a bit rough for some people, but it makes it less "cushy". I'm looking at getting them myself.

The TRD springs are more stiff and provide more of a drop, a mild 1.2F and 1.4R. Yes, the SE anti-sway bars does lessen body roll compared to the other models.

Do the TRD springs cause any drivability issues? Does anyone have pics of an LE dropped with TRD springs?

If you're rolling on stock wheels, you'll be fine with the TRD springs. I see no reason you should bottom out or even scrape for that matter.

How much of a drop does SE springs give me once installed onto LE?
Can I buy the anti-sway bars then installed myself? or professionall install only?

If anyone is interested I have SE springs for sale. I will add that I love my TRD springs. For me the ride is not harsh at all, even with 235/35/20's. Then again my previous car was a Protege with JIC coilovers?

I am driving a Hybrid that has a 200lb battery in the trunk, so take what I'm about to say with the proper perspective to apply to your LE situation:

First, the hybrid comes stock with springs to handle the extra weight yet give it a comfy ride similar to an XLE. Second, the SE not only comes with different springs than other cars, but the entire strut assembly is different, such as the shocks. The SE sits lower than other Camry because of the entire suspension system being different, not solely because of the springs.

Where I am going with this is that I put SE springs (that I got from Watchcrazy who has a v6 SE) into my hybrid. The rear of my hybrid lowered by 1/2" which is what I was expecting and hoping for, but the front of my car actually raised by 1/2"!!! Now I have no idea if the springs are different for SE-V6 versus SE-I4 to compensate for the difference in engine weight. I would have thought my hybrid engine was more comprable in weight to the V6, but maybe I was wrong, and the SE-V6 springs are too high. Rather than try to find a set of SE-I4 springs, I decided to buy a set of TRD springs, and I'm only going to install the fronts. (TRD springs is known to cause rear bottoming out in the hybrid due to the 200lb battery)

So be careful, if you buy SE springs and install them in your LE, there is no guarantee that your front end will lower as you think.

I also just upgraded my 05 SE with TRD Springs and the RSB. If anyone is interested in buying my SE springs or rear sway bar let me know.

If improving thee ride on an LE is what you want... then you need to upgrade the struts to the SE's or whatever aftermarket ones you have available to you.
