18 inch tire pressure HELP!!!

ok guys, i'm wondering how much pressure you guys are running in your 18 inch low-pro tires???

the guys at National Tire and Battery told me that i should stick with the factory specs (30) even with my 235/40/18s as opposed to the stock 215/60/16s.

to me, that seems weird, but i don't have any idea..

help me out guys...what's the right thing to do???

Gen5

I usually run about 38 PSI in my tires (also 18").

30 PSI is great for ride comfort but I prefer a higher pressure to keep the tires from wearing on the edges and for better fuel mileage.

Go as high is you can and still have some comfort. Just don't exceed the max pressure on the side of the tire.
