Smallville and Toyotas

Interesting, I'm a big fan of Smallville (I watch it with my wife of course), just finished watching a taped episode of the season finale, and what do you know, they had a Camry Hybrid in Dark Blue in one scene, I noticed the chrome grille. Interesting, that since the last several episodes I noticed they are using Toyotas for this show. Toyota must've done something persuasive to really get their cars in TV shows. Interesting when you're a car fanatic like me, you really look for the type of cars they have. Like the first Fast&Furious, one scene I noticed a white 82-85 Celica just like mine in white pass in the background.

What I Noticed in other episodes of Smallville.

Tundra, Yaris, Camry, Matrix and a Rav4.

I think Toyota has also extended themselves into "24". That used to be 100% Ford before.

Now in Season 6, we spend considerable time with a Yaris and a Tundra.

Yea 24 has gone from Ford in the first 5 seasons and started with Ford in this season and the past few weeks have switched to Toyota.

I wonder when Keifer is going to start being the voice of Toyota.

The season finale pissed me off. There was absolutely too much stuff being packed into one show. I know it was the season finale but damn.....that was crazy!

I also noticed the Toyotas and I was mentioning it to my fiance' the last 2 or 3 episodes. Those Yaris commercials are kinda creepy though.

if anyone saw harold and kumar go to white castle, the main car was a gen 5 camry SE V6....its shown throughout the entire movie

Toyta is also in Heros a lot besides Nissan, who just has the Versa hatch and the minivan, but if you watch all the scences when NYC blows up all the cars except the taxis are Toyota.

Well duh, Toyota is the car of the Brown man, that and Benz. I am only quarter brown and until the CTS filled that stereotype to a "T" now I am only halfway filling it with the CTS being Desi Brown (Bronze)

If you think this season finally was crazy trying watch BSG (Battlestar Gallatica) Starbuck alive, the Indian chick, Tigh and the other two are Cylons and how about the mysterious song they kept hearing was "Along the Watchtower"

The last two seasons toyota has wiggled their way into the series, I think Clarks truck went from being a Red Chevy to a Red Tundra.
