I like the available wood trim (especially since you get some on the doors, too). And I like the ventilated front seats.

However, I compeltely disagree that the exterior looks better.

if they can have adjustable seat heaters, then why can't we, not to mention the power seat memory?

Looks like the Toyota Aurion in Austrailia... Kind of a mating of the Camry and Avalon. Maybe what the '08 will look like in the US???

it has more goodies b/c the camry is the top-of-line toyota car there. if they sell the same car in the states, the avalon is redundance.

Because some other Asian countries will get the 3.5L with 273.3hp and the Camry's there have much more features than the ES. They even have those power reclining rear seats, rear entertainment systems (like the LS here), and separate front and rear climate control systems.

I remember seeing an '05 Camry when I was over there and that just puts the Lexus ES to shame.

Actually, in some countries where the Camry is at the top of the Toyota line, Lexus may not even be sold there.

How do you know that Camry has a "BETTER DESIGN"? Looks are different than what may be. Find out how much that cost over there and tell me if you would want to pay that much.

I don't see anything special about that car. Most of what is avaliable is also avaliable in the US markets.

You can try to import the parts but most of the USDM parts have a hard enough time being retrofitted (ie Navi, auto climate Control etc)

I agree their interior looks better than our XLE. It has nicer wood stain than our Anemic wood option. But the exteriors don't compare to our SE model.

I agree, it doesn't compare to the SE in the USA. The SE has the agressive look and that just looks like a modified Avalon, something my dad would like...
